Our “Chef William Wongso” (CWW) Rendang is an authentic West Sumatran style that had gone thru a perfect caramelization process in our factory. Therefore it does not need any further cooking except heating it up.
Heating instruction:
Boiling water/ “sous vide” (recommended for best result):
Boil water, put rendang including the (frozen) package into boiling water for 5-10 minutes or until it defrosted, hot and ready to serve.
For (thawed) Rendang (chiller stored) needs only 2-5 minutes in the boiling water just to make it warm to serve.
Microwave:
We received some feedback on heating up CWW Rendang using microwave: since microwave power is varies, it’s recommended to start with 3 minutes (instead of 5 minutes stated in the packaging).
